Index of Tormey Immigrants to America
Over the generations, many branches of the Tormey family tree that have settled in America have become separated. It is hoped that by tracing families to common immigrant ancestors, we will be able to match and reunite some of these branches. Likewise, it is hoped that any detailed immigration records found will provide clues that will help us link families back even further in Ireland.
Below is an index of Tormeys known to have immigrated to America, listed in the order of their arrival in the U.S. (Note that the head of household is listed as the primary immigrant and additional family members are included in the "notes" column.) Of course, this list is far from complete, but it continues to grow as family genealogists learn more about their immigrant ancestors and share the information with others. (Please consider contributing to this valuable research project by submitting information about YOUR Tormey immigrant ancestor(s) or other known Tormey immigrants.)
